Bill Clinton, in what seems like either a high stakes game of poker or an act of self-indulgent bitterness, refuses to acknowledge that Obama is ready for the White House, preferring instead to suggest that perhaps "nobody is ready to be President."

- What's most embarrassing at all is that it's acceptable for our newscasters to joke with one another that they don't want to bother trying to pronounce the names of foreigners, whether they are dignitaries or, as in this week, athletes.

- I don't think it's just an issue of being slick, at least not in the way the Republicans mean it. They often talk about it as if he's all slick and no substance. I don't think that.

- The article makes the point that this move is sure to dismay Obama supporters, and I am one, so I guess that's so. But what really dismays me is that I'm a long-time Bill Clinton supporter and defender, and I just don't have it in me to keep up that fight any longer. I really liked Bill.

- First, I doubt that the 20 years was really was it has been described. Looking at the fuller context of the recent events that are rarely shown and comparing it to the sound bytes we've been offered, it's pretty clear the partisan media is overblowing things substantially.

- First, I think a lot of Republicans are presently spending a lot of effort paying lip service to Hillary because they would rather run against her and it costs them nothing to be involved with her while the Democrat vs Republican debate is not in play.

- Even this very article speaks of "...Wright, whose sermons blaming U.S. policies for the Sept. 11 attacks and calls of 'God damn America' for its racism became fixtures..." which is not factually correct.
